Un après midi à Colbertaldo di Vidor, chez Michel, un jeun vigneron qui, grace à ses souvenirs d’enfance a réussi dans la production d’un Prosecco exceptionnel, à essayer!

an amazing afternoon in Micèl Vineyard, in Colbertaldo di Vidor (TV, Italy). A young winemaker that makes a lovely and delicious Prosecco in the memory of his Gran Father 😉
The History:
Micel followed his grandfather making wine since he was only 6 years old
When he grew up, his parents tried to drive him in the family business , even if totally different
Just 3 months and he left a safe job to follow the vineyards in the Valdobbiadene hills inherited from his grandpa.
He wants to continue the tradition and honor the grandfather
This feeling can be found in his way of farming the Glera grape kind
Less chemical as possible. Also the grass is mowed by hand and no herbicide is used
He loves his vineyards like a daughter and invests all of his money on it , only….not in marketing
He’s convinced that no advertisment is better than the word of mouth
Harvest is made by hand only and sometimes he and his workers need a rope to secure themselves to the vineyards pillars… such steep is the hill !
When attending Bordeaux Vinexpo he sent his friends Denis and Federico to represent himself. He was too busy with his Glera grapes that said : “my commitment is to make an excellent wine, only. My vineyards need me, no one else!”
Who miss that Prosecco…poor him!
